JENNIFER NGUYEN
Owner, J. Nguyen Photography
I'm 27 years old, currently living in Houston, Texas. I'm very passionate when I decide to get involved with something. I love being busy and I love being around the people I care about. I'm always striving to improve myself every day, especially with photography.
It wasn't until college where I first started out in the art of photography, and I've been using it as an artistic outlet ever since. If you want to hire me to do what I love, then I think that is absolutely amazing. Contact me and let me know what you want to do.
FAQ:
Q: What are your prices? Are you available? How many pictures do I get?
A: Contact me for specifics on these questions because they vary depending on what you want to do... email or message me and I can help you from there.
Q: Will my pictures be edited?
A: Yes of course they will! Any photographer who doesn't edit their photos (or at least hires someone to do it for them) is only doing half the job.
Q: Can you take a cool picture of me like one of your self portraits?!
A: Those are very editing intensive and I do it for personal enjoyment. So in short, most likely not.
Q: Can you do a video for me? OR Do you do video?
A: I love doing video. Video commissions/projects are accepted on case-by-case basis. Same goes for price. If it's really interesting and something I have been wanting to do, I might do it for free. But don't totally count on that. The only things I would most likely do for free are music videos for talented singer/songwriters or concept videos for choreographers.
For photographers/curious:
Q: What camera/lenses do you use?
A: Canon 6D (full frame). Sigma 50mm f/1.4, Canon 85mm f/1.8, Canon 24-105mm f/4.0L, Rokinon 14mm f/2.8 Ultrawide angle
Q: What lighting do you use?
A: A couple of Yongnuo flashes, Alienbees B800 with octabox, and a couple of shoot-through umbrellas. And then of course ambient light.
Q: How long have you been doing photography?
A: 8 years.
Q: What programs do you use to edit?
A: Photoshop CS6 and Lightroom 5.
Q: Can you teach me?!
A: Send me your work and if I see some potential, we can communicate and you can eventually help me on shoots and such. Always looking to meet fellow photographers too!
